Spring Reading List – Garden Adventures around the World

We’ve just arrived in Asheville, North Carolina for my nephew Charlie’s spring break, and blooms are starting to pop all over the mountainsides! We’ve planned a few days of hiking and playing in and around the mountains, including a visit to the Biltmore, where the gardens are sure to be bursting with color!

I'm hoping to see these gorgeous tulips during our visit to the Biltmore in Asheville this week!

Reading has always been a big part of my life, and I’m thrilled that Charlie is such a terrific reader – in fact, he brought a book along with him that’s on his list for the spring. And speaking of spring…

Spring is a wonderful time for garden adventures, both in the backyard and in books. Little Passports asked blogger and child education expert, Deb Chitwood, to create a reading list of great garden books for ages 3-5 and another for ages 6-10. Venture outside with your little explorers and enjoy some or all of this Spring Reading List: Garden Adventures around the World!

And if you missed Little Passports’ last blog post on creating life long readers, you can view it here: 4 Tips for raising a life-long reader. I hope that’s just what Charlie is becoming – a life-long reader!

It’s a perfect time for your little explorer to get lost in a book!

What’s your favorite book from childhood?
